75% of their product's packaging are 100% compostable. They are slowly transitioning all their products to compostable packaging. However, in the meantime rest of the products are in Recycle #2 packing that is widely acceptable plastic for recycling.

Eco-Friendly Shipping:

Thier shipping boxes use compostable tape, offering carbon neutral shipping, and they avoid ink heavy printing and plastic inserts so that even their shipping boxes can be composted after use!

Carbon footprint:

Sourcing the ingredients closer to their home from US farm in California is their first priority. If not California then a farm somewhere else in the US. When an ingredient isn't produced in the United States (like certain superfoods), they carefully choose importers that support ethical farming practices as well as their values and our mission.
